We’re thrilled to announce that the White Settlement Library, in partnership with the White Settlement Historical Museum (http://www.wsmuseum.com/) and the University of North Texas Libraries, has been awarded a competitive grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for State Fiscal Year 2026.

This exciting project will digitize the complete archive of the White Settlement Bomber News (1957–2020)—more than 30,000 pages of rich local history! From military milestones to community celebrations to historical events, this collection captures decades of life in White Settlement, Texas. The project is well underway, with digitization completed for issues through the early 2000s.
