All The Colors Of The Dark
Chris Whitaker
I liked how it ended. I was kept on my toes. I didn't know what to expect. I liked that the chapters are short, so it's easy to start and stop as needed and it makes it feel like I'm making progress through the book quickly. One star off because of explicit language.

The Secret Life Of Sunflowers
Marta Molnar
This was a great book about a very brave woman. I loved the modern day story that backed up the historical story so well! I would recommend it strongly !

Project Hail Mary
Andy Weir
There were moments I felt like I wasn’t smart enough for this book, Andy Weir goes deep into the science, but I ended up appreciating how much attention to detail he puts into everything. The plot is SO good and totally lives up to the hype. Once Rocky was introduced, I finally understood why everyone recommends the audiobook. I’ll definitely be rereading it that way soon!

Nightshade
Michael Connelly
Good book. The hero , Stillwell, is determined to figure out several mysteries. I was happy to read an old-fashioned detective book again!

A Wolf Called Wander
Rosanne Parry
Good book. There were definitely a lot of sad portions in the book. But the ending was great. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I felt there were plenty of moments it was just describing Swift/Wander by himself and just describing him walking which wasn’t boring but it wasn’t exacting either.

Fairy Door Diaries: Eliza And The Flower Fairies
Megan McDonald
It was ok. The action was definitely more childish, it was very fast paced. But the whole story and writing style was mid. The illustrations were okay. But I think Eliza was just illustrated badly.

Magicalia
Jennifer Bell
I felt the author was going for a Harry Potter vibe in this book. However I felt that it didn’t quite work out. I also felt that the names of the magical creatures weren’t as cute or rememberable as the ones in Harry Potter. However I’m also comparing this series to my favorite book series (Harry Potter) and this was just not the same.
